FRSC appoints Akpabio, Lagos sector Commander

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), has appointed Nseobong Charles Akpabio, as the Sector Commander of the Lagos State Command, to take over from Corps Commander, Jonas Agwu.

A statement issued yesterday by the Corps Education Officer (CEO) of the Lagos State Sector, Esther Sonusi, indicated that Akpabio, was one of the pioneer staff of the FRSC, and a highly decorated officer, who holds National Honours Award in the rank of Member of the Order of the Niger (MON). He was the immediate past Corps Public Education Officer at the National Headquarters, Abuja.

“He served the Corps in various command and staff appointments including the Sector Commander in Akwa Ibom, Imo, Enugu, Ebonyi, Kaduna and Benue states in addition to the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja and Head of the Corps’ Command Administration and Strategy in the Operations Department, National Headquarters supervising over 200 FRSC Commands nationwide”, the statement added.
